It certainly is warm, i got the air con pumping right now and will leave it on overnight.

They have just said that we are gunna have a week of over 40 here all week.
And I'm so glad we bought a reverse cycle air conditioner last year.
As the one on the roof is no good when it comes to this.

I have just gone and checked my thermoter and it is reading 46 degrees in the shade.
And during the other months it has the same reading as the news shows.
But bring in Summer and all of a sudden it is different readings.
So way up here in the northwest we have it really hot.
And the news may show that it was 42 but you will all know this is wrong.
Why you ask, well we need pickers and who in their right mind would pick in that so a little fudging of the numbers to get them here is called okay.
They have been doing it for years so why would they change and show the true readings now.

Yeah doesn't really reflect the states temps Mel, being on the bay and all. Even tho it got pretty hot today.

I live 40 ks out in the east near the yarra valley and it is allways 2-6 hotter than the mel forecast.
