SIREN!  :gotigers

Final Score

Coburg  3.6    5.8   9.11    16.14-110
Willy     4.3    6.6   10.11   13.14-92

Goals: Tivs 4, Shelton 2, Putt 2, Carnell 2, Cartledge 2, Graham, Gazzo, Collins, Hyde

Tivs and Howat coming back made a huge difference. Tivs won the game with 4 goals.
JON "simply maginifcient".
Small forwards Carnell, Caruso very good.

Carnell very happy when interviewed. Both seniors and ressies did the job.

Good to see JON bounce back after a couple of poor games. Sounds like a few pushing for selection.

Daniel Jackson interview on Double X:

* We set ourselves to have a hard pressure game. Attack the man, attack the game. Gameplan works when we do that. Didn't do it last week and got flogged. Did it today and won knocking off the top side. Hopefully keep it up and play finals.

* Good to be back last week despite the loss. Good to find form today and hopes to get himself back up into the Richmond side although he loves down at Coburg. A good side.

-------------------------
Commentators saying the difference tis week was Coburg win it out of the centre and the Coburg forwards finally played in front with Carnell leading the way in that area.

Rawlings:

* Last week our most disappointing effort against Port Melbourne. This week we they demonstrated the effort required.

* Midfield was outstanding. Hyde did a good job shutting down their best mid. Cartledge and Graham got on top in the ruck over Peter Street and their other ruckman as the game went along. Didn't need Putt in the ruck today so played him forward.

* Cogs is a real talent. Coming back from a long way back. Good to get another game out of him today.

* Howat - been involved in the coaches box at Coburg as he's been out for a while. Really happy with him today.

* Topsy-turvy year where we win like today whereas we've also been flogged by Port. Made the coaching stressful at times.

* Petts - looked severe. Jade said he is close to Petts. Doesn't look good. We'll respect him and support him in the coming days.

* Improvement - consistency is the challenge. They have it in then but it's a week to week thing.

* JON - shakey start but pivotal to us for the rest of the game. Likable character and he wants to see Jarryd be the best he can be.

Danny Meyer seems to be pushing hard for selection. Consistently getting into the bests now.
