biggest games for us next week (outside our own) are the

Brissie -v- Carlton game

Saints -v- Adelaide

Pies -v- Swans

Those go our way and who knows

But today showed we are heading in the right direction

We out played and them and out coached them ;D

Regardless we are starting to win more than we are loosing. What a turn around from last year!

I'm looking forward to next year when we finish in the top 4  :gotigers

Top 4????

being positive is a good thing but lets be realistic here.
Our best players today were RICHO and Bowden.

Of the 9 games we have won this year, Richo and Bowden have played a major part in winning at least 5/6 of them.

Our best player is Richo by far so i wouldnt be talking top 4 till someone steps up and takes his place as our match winner.

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

Statistically maybe, but Bowden just played loose all day and Richo only had a good 4th quarter
Tuck was BOG for his performance in shutting down Mitchell early and was the best midfielder on the ground on the day, he was by far the most influential

You've got no idea mate.

You didnt like Connors or Morton's efforts today? both kicked 3. No Browny playing.

Lids and Tuck have had their best season

No Foley in midfield today

Our 2 key defenders have been fantastic

Plenty of good signs this year.

I doubt you're not a Richmond supporter

The Bombers have lost another 4 players to injury including Hille and Fletcher. That makes it hard to see them knocking off St Kilda in round 22.

The biggest single factor in our wins has been replacing the older types with more kids and moving Richo out of the forward line to let us structure up in a much more functional and unpredictable way.  And we have proved that over and over again this season by playing poorly every single time we have recalled the older culprits or stood Richo in the goal square.  We have a number of match winners or potential match winners among our kids and this will come to the fore over the next few seasons.  And, luckily for us, most of them are midfielders which gives them a bigger influence on the game than a key forward.

I still have memories of Melbourne knocking us out of the finals way back in the '90s.
That was a horrible game.
Let's hope we don't take any of these teams for granted, especially after this week having such a great match against the Hawks that we don't drop our guard.

hey fu.kwit read my post again.
i questioned  us making the top 4.

i stand by my previous argument. Without Richo this year we would be bottom 3 at the very best.

We have some good kids coming through but withouth Richo i am yet to see how we are going to make top 4 next year with this list.

Does that make sense to you now loser.

Enough with the personal insults and name calling Daniel.

I think you made your point without having to resort to what i"ve underlined
