Yet to debut

Others: Putt, Gourdis, Browne, Gilligan.

I went Connors as he forced his way into our side in the letter half of 2008 when we were performing well.  Like a few other people I think he still has a bit of work to do on his game though.

I cant see JON or Rance doing well as they may find it hard to get games competing against our well performing back six.  However I am hanging for Rance to get a crack as he is a fast powerful unit by all accounts.

Hislop could do rather well also I think, although with our midfield stocks getting a boost in quantity and quality he may struggle to consistently get a game.

Vickery I dont think will get enough games to do well in the rising star.

My tip for the rising star is Watts, given he is playing in a developing side he should play practically the whole season barring injury and if he is a good as they should poll well.

I would be interested to hear from the person who said Collins and the reasoning, I haven't seen him play so I don't have an opinion on him.

Well that would be me sort of Chuck.  Not having seen most of them play i wasnt going to vote.
I was having a look at the poll when my mates 20 month old daughter started clicking the mouse.   :banghead
Simple as that.

LOL, gotta love them don't you.

I remember when my son was five in kindergarton he learnt how to put a password on windows and did so on our home PC.  My wife rang me in a panic as the password he gave her didn't work, eventually we were able to work it out though.

Hi Chucky

I have seen him play and rate him highly, so does TW as he suggested that he was looking to giving him a Senior game at the family day. A good skills, goes in hard and can take a grab. His disposal usually hits the mark. He was unlucky not to get a run at the end of last year and would have if we were not winning games.

Was injured in his first year and look liked he was ready to take the next step last year but will need to have a good pre season and get the confidence up  because there will be competition for a spot this year. I would suggest Collins needs to get the ball a little more but hes improving in that area as well.

I believe he will be the big improver this year along with big Putty and could be rising star chances.

I can only see Connors or Hislop as a show for the rising star. They have the potential for a breakout year. Graham could surprise next year but as second ruckman it's very unlikely he'd have a chance even if he plays well.

I went rance not thinking of connors who I do favour...he has an x factor that with more experience he will use to his advantage at the appropriate time rather than all of the time...Rance will still be in the queue for a bit, his form will need to be outstanding to put himself up...Im sure he'll get his chance early on  :gotigers

Daniel Rich at $13 would be worth a small flutter. Ready-made midfielder who could easily do a Rhys Palmer. He'll still have Black and Power in the Lions midfield to help him out.

Connors is our best chance but he needs a full preseason not another crook ankle  :-\.

It's been mentioned on SEN tonight that Naitanui will miss the start of the season with some knee injury.

Connors could be a smokey based on the his flair and the way he finished the season last year.
