If you were Richmond Coach Selector?

Would you drop Mitch Morton for this week?

I personally vote No.

May be just the Rev he needed.
Seems a bit of a sook with an attitude problem. Needs to build a bridge cause think he can be a handy player when his mind is right.
Play him and see how he responds.
Good suggestion playing him in the backline, needs accountability re-enforced on him IMO.
Then again it should be a fast open game and we will need guys up forward that can take a grab and kick goals, he will still have to be accountable because Bumblers will take it on from their defence.
Big week for Mitch

I really like Mitch the head demons in him seem to be creaping out which aren't good.

I'd play him and see how he responds.

Play him for sure to see how he responds.

Unfortunately with our forward line not exactly setting the world on fire we need him up there kicking goals, not that I disagree with the sentiments of the back pocket position arguement

Play him

Easiest thing to do is drop him

He owes his team-mates after his brain fade - let's see what he is made of

I might be wrong but Im detecting a bit of sympathy for Mitch after Terrys bad choice of words.

If there was any consistantcy Mitch should be dropped....Instead of putting the team first-he decided to be the hero.

A stronger club might see this as an opportunity for the senior players/leadership group to decide Mortons fate this week.

Dropping him two weeks ago didn't seem to work. I wouldn't mind seeing how he responds this week.

If I was at the club I would be telling Mitch to look at how hard Nahas works.

I have little sympathy for Mitch after his brain fade - it cost us the game, Lids is standing there telling him to settle and hold (watched the replay today ;D), 2 players have dropped back behind him with no opposition...but anyway moving on

However, I want to win this game and to win it we need to kick goals

Mitch is a goal kicker

The other thing is sadly is after the soap opera that has been this week - dropping him/keeping him is a no win ..... we will cop it no matter what from the media who are falling over themselves to blame the RFC for their own incompetence... Shouldn't play a part I know but....

Let him play to see how he reacts to all the negativity around him.
Could kick the winning goal this week and go from zero to hero.

Keep! Youll wreck his career if you drop him and for that reason he will play! Also, could you imagine the heat that will put on TW(more heat) from the players and footy public if he dropped him?

Keep him in and rotate him through the centre and forward line I mean that is what he was originally recruited for. He left West Coast because of lack of opportunity....... so give it too him. Don't just let him sit in the forward line, make him work, get him into the centre, West Coast were grooming him for that role and he did have a crack in there with them.

Definitely play him, make him work harder leading into the midfield
Tell him if he doesn't do his job and play the team game that he'll be dropped for the next month at least
