We've got a 2-nil record over the Uzbeks and they've never scored against us.

Should have put Iraq away so much earlier. We won't get past the Japs or the Chungols if we keep missing that many chances.

Yep in terms of chances we were all over them but I guess as long as one goes in then that's all that matters. Robbie Slater now has egg on his face after saying Kewell should have retired after the World Cup  :wallywink.

Japan hasn't been in imposing form either. They only just got by Qatar. South Korea would be our major threat IMO and we drew with them in the group stage.

Some very quiet NSL fans lately  ;D. Good to see too a number of A-leaguers doing well for the Socceroos. One more to go  :thumbsup.

0-0 at half-time. The first 25 mins we were on top in general play but it's evened up towards the interval. Oga lucky the ref isn't a strict dill and didn't ping him for handball.

A live stream is here btw:

Carney was bloody ballwatching in no man's land as his opponent waltzed into the box behind him  ::) :banghead. Anyway we only have ourselves to blame. We had a large chunk of the general play and had enough decent chances to score but missed everyone of them. One that got away!  :-\

ps. after losing it this is where we say it's a mickey mouse comp. and no one cares about it anyway  :wallywink

Spot on. Carney got his head stuck in a jar as a child. And who let him take that last free kick?  stuffing  :wallywink
Should have had that game iced well before extra time, be nice if we could unearth a few genuine strikers.
Ahh well, another chapter in the growing Jap-Oz rivalry.
