Very unfair, Broad gets 4 and others with actions that are just as dangerous are lucky to get 2
The Richmond tax in play

Broady about to turn 30. Can't blame him if he's offered a pay day he can't refuse. Don't owe him a damned thing from pick 67

Agree
Would wish him all the breast

Or will cop nothing for an unnatural action (both forearms raised to an opponent's head after disposing of the ball).

Rohan with the same slinging action if not worse (Jiath didn't have the ball for most of the tackle before being dumped) than Broad's, yet because Jiath by luck didn't get concussed then Rohan will be lucky to get at most a week  ::).

3 sling tackles .... all different MRO verdicts.

1. Supporter: Please explain AFL
AFL: nothing to see here ✅
https://twitter.com/ScottyMullet/status/1644884973038747649

2. Will Day has been handed a two-match ban for his fierce tackle on Geelong’s Brad Close which saw the forward’s arms pinned and head slammed into the turf. The rough conduct charge was graded as careless with high impact and high contact, equating to a two-match ban.

3. Cats forward Gary Rohan has been handed a one-match ban for his slinging tackle on Hawks defender Changkuoth Jiath. His incident was graded as medium impact rather than high, which resulted in a one-match suspension.

Due to our pathetic list management decisions that will surely give gws a top 5 pick for a bloke who will be 27 soon we have no choice but to trade in this draft. Broad has to go as much as I love why he has brought into our club.

The club have no one to blame for themselves. Broad may be collateral damage.

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

4 dangerous/sling tackles in 24 hours. Yep, giving Broad 4 weeks because of the outcome rather than the action while others get a slap on the wrist has really sent a message to the rest of the comp, AFL - NOT!  ::)

ps. The second one with Stengle going off injured could have been prevented if the ump had paid the first against Stanley 5 seconds earlier. Once again, the umps failing to make a decision when they should have.

What about the Saints bloke who in a non football act behind the play actually knocked a bloke out and got 3 weeks?

I mean seriously WTF?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Premiership Tiger Nathan Broad spills on how proposal to now wife Tayla went horribly wrong

He was prepared for five weeks, but when the moment came, things went awry - and ‘the camera got it all’.

Broady accepts the double action tackle he did is not on and needs to be stamped out of the game. He does question the Will Day one given how fast paced the game is and how players need to make split second decisions.

Senior coach Damien Hardwick stressed Broad's importance to the Tigers' defensive unit.

"He's one of those players that plays on a really good opposition player," Hardwick said.

"We're looking forward to Nathan taking on the challenge (of playing on Gold Coast's Jack Lukosius) and hopefully beating him."

Difference again is Zorko got up and plated on

But agree, reckon the kid will get 2-3 weeks or at least he should
