He's our best player at the moment. Better than Jack, better than Rance - and both those guys are around career best form.

He is a different player when he just gets the ball and sends it 60m downfield rather than tries a risky dinky kick of 25 to 30m which often misses its target and leads to a turnover goal. :whistle

OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

He's a better player when Cotchin isn't stifling him.

It certainly looks that way even if it isn't!

thats because the shorter kick requires better judgement, so is harder to do

After a first month where he was off, Dusty is back in good form over the past few weeks.

Gave a shoutout to his dad in NZ in the post-match interview, so not surprisingly what happened to his father affected him.

Dustin Martin can’t be tackled. Martin is so strong. He loves putting his arm out to fend off an opponent and he made sure Nick Suban couldn’t tackle him during the third term. Hayden Crozier fell victim to the Martin fend off during the final quarter too.

Martin shrugging off that tackle was amazing to see. He's ridiculously strong in the hips.

Yeah, Dusty was huge last night!  Good to see.  He's just so powerful in the packs, he can't be tackled effectively because he just powers out of the tackle & always gets the ball out.  Loved some of his long kicks with the wind deep into the forward line!  He's starting to play like his mate Dane Swan does, too powerful to handle!     :bow
