I don't see how that club can turn it around.
Chris Dawes and David Rodan, obviously  ::)

if neeld had gone to the trade table and recruited kids and possibly kept club fav's Mcdonald and Maloney then maybe they would have let him serve his full term but he didnt and will be shown the door.
The recruitment of Rodan was outright stupid but a first round for Doors was the worst recruiting mistake i have seen since the Mclovin recruit.

But problem is with former greats Lyon, Stynes and Schwab if you ask me. Lyon sticking his nose in but then backing off when the going get tough. He from memory was instrumental in sacking Bailey and hiring Neeld. Stynes and Schwab were major players in the tanking fiasco.

whose decision was the 2 captains?

you cant tell me all their top recruits were all spuds. They may be now but surely thats due to development

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

Just a minor correction there daniel: Neeld didn't give MacDonald the flick. That was Bailey's doing and to be honest probably his biggest mistake. Playing group weren't happy with it

i reckon the fear of losing draft picks played a part in trading them for players.

I don't either Coach. They are deep deep in it. Can't see them getting out of it... maybe ever ?
Western Demons anyone ?

Same, on Demonland they're talking about attracting a big name free agent...  :nope

They're also wondering what they could trade to get Dion Prestia... a couple have suggested Frawley. Robbing Peter to pay Paul. Gain - good midfielder, Lose - Only decent defender they have.

But when they get Clark back, teamed with Hogan and Dawes, they'll have a brutal forward line, but no way to get the ball to those 3 players.  :lol

Pick 3 and Pick 13 in the mini-draft for Hogan and 20 was just as stupid. Pick 3 was plenty enough to get the job done, unless the dogs were offering 5 and 6, then no-one else could have offered better than that.

SPORTAL THINK:
The Tigers have won their last three against the Demons and we see no reason why they won't make it four in this clash. Damien Hardwick's side are a class above the Dees and are fighting for a spot in the finals, while for Mark Neeld it's just a matter of making sure he doesn't have to lodge his centrelink forms next week. You would have to think the Dees will show more fight than they have in many of their matches so far this year, but it is hard to see them being competitive enough to test the Tigers for the entire match. Richmond's midfield has too much class and the likes of Jack Riewoldt, Tyrone Vickery and Luke McGuane will convert enough goal scoring opportunities to heap more misery on Neeld and the Demons. Richmond by 72 points.

Just for the record, Melbourne's average losing margin this year has been 78 points.

Remember the Old VFA scores on a Sunday on the news back in the early 80's.
Every week someone used to kick "the sweep" against Sunshine.
May we do the same on Sunday to the Melbourne Fairy Club and kick "the sweep".

Frawley looks disinterested and lazy, hope he is coming out of contract, doesnt want to be there.
Contracted until the end of next year Sib.  But I would chase him if he was available, he is top notch and just needs a club that won't break his spirit.
