Honestly Andy, why not?
12-15 games for the next couple of years at that standard will win us games.
I do not want to become the lolnorf of the competition over the next 2-3 years.
Lolnorf should not be 17th with that list but they have forgotten how to win
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Do you think we're likely to get 12-15?

I said 15+ but even if you could guarantee me 12 it's good for thought.

At the moment though I really don't see him getting on the park that much. It's game time we need in guys like McAuliffe, Sonsie, Lalor, Smillie etc. We have Taranto and Hopper to be the big bodies we need.

Not as though he is keeping kids out of games atm and it would be a similar scenario next year.
Dion or Ross, Dow McIntosh in the mid field.

Midfield group next year

Taranto, Hopper, Prestia. there's your experience. Still developing Lalor, Smillie, Hotton, McAuliffe, plus two first rounders. The first 7 we hope is our core group next year and the first rounders get games.
Thats just a total of 9 mids we need to get it closer to 14 or so for development and depth in the seconds.

If seven mids is a standard each week and with the bench that is pretty normal for most teams, then the easy way to work out how many  you need is  simply mirroring as best as possible the number in the seconds.
Even if you include the likes of Sonsie Ross and Dow there is still a need for more.

With all that above can see no reason why Prestia could not go around again.

Prestia's goal

VIDEO: https://x.com/Richmond_FC/status/1931196394888700059

----------------------------------------------

Highs and lows for Prestia
Dion Prestia looked like a world-beater in the opening quarter. With 13 disposals, three clearances and a goal to his name, he was the engine room around whom the rest of the Tigers' midfield was working. Prestia was the first port of call for Sydney coach Dean Cox to address at quarter-time. Reliable midfielder James Rowbottom stood alongside Prestia to open the second term, and didn't let him out of his sight, preventing the Tiger from touching the footy, and working Prestia out of the game so well that he didn't even register a tackle for the quarter. Prestia ultimately finished with 21 disposals and six clearances, a far cry from the impact he threatened to have.
