A surprise win or two in the early part of the season other than beating Melbourne just for the sake of this thread may boost membership sales a little quicker. Not that the Melbourne game is a gimme as we all know that. Both teams will be keen. Losing to Melbourne may slow it down further than it is going now.

Not wrong there guys. The food prices are exhorbitant but not usually a drinker at the footy but I did have a couple of bourbon and cokes with a mate last week and the bourbons set us back $9.50. For cougars as well I think or some sort of inferior product other than Jimmy. ::)

We'll be lucky to reach 40k now. No surprise given the results on-field but it's been just crawling along since the season has started and reality kicked in.

If you track results of clubs memberships from bottom of the ladder to consistent top 4 or finals you'll find membership increase by 60-70%.

For us it would probably double given the drought will probably see unprecedented support for the club.

i mentioned this in another thread a few days ago, if we budgeted for more than 40k members this year after last seasons shenanigans then this club is even dumber than i thought
