What did Melbourne receive for Scully again. I would hope we can get a similar deal via trade.

Melbourne got special compensation for losing a player to the new franchise, just like all other sides that lost players to them did at the time. That compo is no longer available, so we just have to make sure we get the best deal possible by trading

I know thats why I said hopefully we can get a similar deal via trade. I can't remember the compensation picks they received though.

fair enough

in order to gain something descent out of this we will need more than 2 parties wanting him

if left to GWS alone we are royally screwed as has been suggested.

One minute this guy is a hero, now he's a loose cannon and you're all glad he is "quitting". I hope he stays and you all look like stuffwits. Well most of you already do regardless

Be hilarious if he backflips again, changes his mind (again) and decides to stay  :rollin

2 1st rounders from memory.

Think we can get the same from the pies if they lose daisy and get the expected 1st round compo for him

not me. i think we will take a back step next year. the guy is a proven match winner and unless we obtain a deal like Al has suggested we will be worse off.

i think we have failed somewhere along the lines here. No one really knows for a fact its only go to do with money because 500k or 550 is not much difference and i cant see GWS offering north of that.

Brad Otten$ the II.

Du$tin Martin. That name will now forever be mud.

Lets hope if we have four picks in the top 20 they all count for the right reasons. :thumbsup

True that GWS have the threat of the PSD in their corner in terms of negotiations, but they have to tread warily. IF they get a reputation of being total arsewipes at the trade table then it may come back to bite them when they start losing some of their kids that want to return home in the next few years.

Noticed him uploading a picture of watching his old mate Daniel playing footy the other day. Perhaps he is sick of richmond controlling his social life too much ? ie not being able to see connors.
