Scenario 1: Brisbane says no to Martin, GWS says no to Martin, We get Adams, Conca signs with us, WE DELIST MARTIN as we can't fit him in our salary cap
Scenario 2. Brisbane says no to Martin, GWS says no to Martin, We get Adams, Conca leaves, Martin signs
Scenario 3. We get Adams, Conca and Martin

not sure luke would be the best advocate for teh RFC considering he is about to be delisted

Disagree because Luke is a quality individual.

And I don't think it is about Dusty talking to people who are trying to simply sell him the club per se, just like it shouldn't be just about the money.  It's also about they other stuff away from the club that he needs to understand.

And IMHO that needs to come from a mature head who he trusts like Luke. Not dim witted morons like Dan Connors or Ralph Carr

If he does go there, expect it to be in a deal for Adams. Think we can safely rule out #1 and Patton.

Don't want dusty to go but if he did could live with this deal, would expect though Adams plus second rounder

AFL.com.au understands Martin was due to meet with a Giants delegation on Thursday led by senior coach Leon Cameron, list manager Stephen Silvagni and CEO David Matthews.

The Giants appear to be in the box seat to snare Martin should he decide to leave Richmond, with reports on Thursday suggesting Melbourne had pulled out of the race. having baulked at the midfielder's apparent asking price of $600,000 a season.

However, the Brisbane Lions are also believed to be interested in talking with Martin.

They're only interested coz they don't have a coach. Soon as one is appointed they will go cold on Dusty. A new coach taking on Dusty might be career suicide.

Unless the new coaching panel includes Leppa  ;D

as a famous aussie once said, tell 'em they're dreamin'
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."
