Lloydy on the 'sad' scenario surrounding Dustin Martin ahead of his 300th in the weeks to come, and what the Tigers can do to get the best out of their champion.

I think he was talking about players that have won 4 and 5 premierships... They may have more premiership medals but Dusty is still a superior player than them

No hard feelings if he wants to play elsewhere but I'm hoping he retires a 1 club champion.

Can't wait to see the doco.

His 2017 highlights still give me tingles in my crotch.
My gut feel is he won't play anywhere. He will retire and that's it.

Think he was using it to spruik the norms

But the stupid thing is he wouldn’t have said it about Pendles, who has won two

Both of Dusty's first half goals.

Dusty bends one to absolute perfection!

Reports of the death of Dustin Martin's career have been greatly exaggerated

While not quite the Dusty of old, it was the type of night where you sat on the edge of your seat if Martin got near the footy inside 50. After a few weeks of speculation about his football future, the out-of-contract Martin didn't show any signs of being a little bit sick of this football thing, booting vintage, curling goals in both the first and second terms. A strong contested mark and traditional wheel-and-go set shot in the third brought the Tigers back into the game. He was hit up three times in the dying minutes, but couldn't quite get it done.

As if we needed proof how ridiculous the recent narrative is. Just a shame that this sort of stuff gets attention and is click bait. I'm sure Dusty

Was awesome last night.

Not trying to be a smart behind here, but I think it shows that the criticism of his past few games was warranted.

He is still absolute beast when he’s locked in and playing with intensity.

Not to the level it was. He was poor as were all his team mates for a fortnight. No need for a witchhunt and calling for a guy to retire.
Go Tigers!

Fair enough.

He gets held to a high standard because he’s a great of the game.
