yep we have 9 gone bowden brown pettifer coughlan johnnson raines schulz jon pettifer and hughes thus far.

was sort of looking at their contributions for the yr and it dawned on me bowden aside the remainder played few games and in games they did play contributed little. it then dawned on me that these players will not be missed at all.

Doesn't that indicate we have got our recruiting on track, well our delisting at least!  Tick for Hardwick and Francis Jackson.
Now lets see what we get in the draft, if we get a 50% hit rate like Geelong then we will be OK.

If it is Patto and Putt doesn't that indicate we have a bad physical conditioning coach.  Both of these guys suffer from a lack of body mass.  Both talls, both mobile for talls which can be very useful.  Both underweight.  Sure genetics plays a part, but mass is also years of weight training.

For me it's lack of ability not mass

WP, 2 more to go, they will be told  later today

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo have they been told and who are they.

I'll take a stab in the dark it's Polak and Patto
More likely Putt, and  one of Patto or Polak

I would give Putt one year as a rookie that's it. Certainly wouldn't keep him on the senior list. Because he has only been in the system 2 years I think a 3rd year is worth a punt but as a rookie.

Biggest problem with Putt that i saw when he played Coburg seniors was he was very to slow react when he didn't have the ball or when the ball was in dispute say 5-10 metres away from him.

When he is in the middle of a contest he plays and bases his decisions on instinct which alot of the time is very good but when he isn't directly in a contest he really struggles. And for me that was the part of his game that showed very little improvement in 2009

Interesting observation WP .The times i saw him play in the magoos,i noticed that he was more an observant rather than a participant of what was going on around him

If Patto is one of the 10 then I'm guessing the two others are Polak and Putt. I'm guessing in Putty's case it's a meesage to draftees that after two years you're still only a fringe Coburg player let alone a Richmond fringe player then it'll be bye-bye.
