Retract my comment that he was no better than Chaplin.

Don't retract too early , he hasn't played on a decent forward yet and we haven't played a decent side yet (apart from WC)

Played on JK

Once of Dave's best games I'd thought. Seems the stats back that up - 19 disp (8 contested, 94% eff), 10 marks (4 contested), 5 1%ers & 3 R50s.

Very good tonight, my only criticism is that he sometimes seems to still be in 2016 mode and automatically goes back on his mark rather than looking to move it quickly. Other than that i think he is very solid and he and Rance have formed a formidable partnership at the back. Just a shame we don't have a Johannisen or someone similar who can cut through and make more of their intercept marking. Real shame about Yarran as that would have been his role but we need to find someone with some genuine pace to do the job, Markov could also be that player in the future.

His lockdown work is sensational. He doesn't have a great deal of dash and dare which is the only knock on his game but the fact he does what he is meant to do and that is defend I think he was very servicable

Yeah he does although he seems to have cut that down this season. we are crying out for KPP players, this guy, whilst no world beater, is stepping up this season and giving us a genuine 2nd KPD behind Rance.

Agreed with chuck needs to be consistent but he did have a great game. Good to see him taking some marks with confidence. Still always looks unsure/scared.

His game was OK

Again gave away stupid frees in the F50 with his constant looking at his opponent and not watching the ball. He actaully got away with a couple last night  :clapping

My biggest knock on him however, continues to be his momentum killing, stopping propping and taking what seems to be forever in moving the ball on

Frustrates the hell out of me
