because if you dont take the right blokes, then no strategy will work, Richmond has shown since the introduction of the draft.
Again I ask the question, why did the so called moneyball stategy work sucessfully for Roos at Sydney if the strategy is flawed?
As its never been answered, I dont expect that to change, but it really is simple, because it comes down to implementation of it, the same as anything else.
It would be like using 10-15 years of our failed early draft picks to argue that using your early draft picks is flawed.
