But that doesn't fit either

P.S. Bedlam Spirit remains unsolved. Give up?

I'm gonna say Crazy Heart, although all I know is that is a movie (is it a movie about a band? Is there another band called Crazy Heart?)....

"crazy" isn't the half of the clue that MT got right. ;)

I havn't even heard of the ones MT got
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Well that'll teach me to always go for the most obscure bands I can think of to make it more difficult.
But honestly, Q1. are legends. They played the Big Day Out about 4 years ago IIRC, and their original guitarist, who ironically was the straightest member drugs-wise, had a fatal heart attack about a year ago.
