Hislop has to go. He does not get enough of the ball. Bring in King. I would bring in Tuck. The Bulldogs are not only a very skilful team they are hard at it. Bring in Rance. Our defence needs support.

In: Jayden Post

Out: Shane Edwards

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

B: Farmer, Moore, Thursfield

HB: Connors, McGuane, Deledio

C: Cousins, Martin, Newman

HF: Tambling, Riewoldt, Roberts

F: Nahas, Post, Morton

Ruck: Vickery

Ruck Rover: Jackson

Rover: Thomson

Interchange: Simmonds, Nason, Hislop, Cotchin

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Deledio - I have given up hoping Deledio becomes our match-winner! So i think play him off the half-back flank against Western. Play Deledio maybe loose.

Newman - I think it is time to play our Captain in the midfield. Newman has the skills to hit long targets.

Martin - Keep playing Martin in the midfield with a clear instruction to kick the football long!

Vickery - 65% in the Ruck resting at Full Foward.

Simmonds - 35% in the Ruck resting at Full Foward.

Cotchin - in Midfield, the Carlton match showed me that on the Wing, Cotchin's lack of pace is a negative. But when Cotchin is arounf the football, he is a star really.

Post - In the forward line, bomb it in long and high for Post, 6 out of 10 times, Post will mark it!

(if Post is injuried, play Astbury or Griffiths!)

Out : Edwards, Thomson, Nahas, Connors, Vickery, McGuane
In : Post, Browne, Polo, Tuck, Webberley, Polak

Doubt we will get as many changes as this (wishful thinking)

One extra tall in the forwards (Polak) out Nahas, Post for McGuane (assuming Post is not injured after falling on his back), Polo definitely in for Edwards, and to blood a real backman, bring in Webberley who had a great game apparently in the Magoos, and I would drop Connors for being lazy.  Tuck in for Thomson, to give a bit of protection in the midfield. Vickery back to the magoos to work upon his fitness, and Browne in to see how he can go.

If Tuck and Polak don't come in this week, we won't see them ever again in a Richmond jumper unless we have plenty of injuries.

B : Polo, Moore, Farmer
HB : Tambling, Post, Newman
C : Martin, Deledio, Cotchin
HF : Nason, Riewoldt, Hislop
F : Morton, Polak, Roberts
Foll : Simmonds, Jackson, Cousins

Int : Browne, Tuck, Webberley, Thursfield

What has Polo done to deserve a game WP?? Did he even play for Coburg and if he did he wasn't mentioned, surley Webberly deserves a go before him.

Sorry WP, I just read the report on Y&B, sounds like Polo went ok.

I don't rate him but Hislop cannot be dropped based on Thursday's performance.

Of course he can. Did you watch his 2nd half??

given the current situation and lack of real players it is more a choice of who played exceptionally well for Coburg, rather than who we will drop, considering DH is scanning the list for senior duds as well as blooding the children.

The whole year will see the rotating door theory,as we just don;t have the cattle.

RICHMOND

Despite the Tigers' poor performance against traditional rival Carlton in round one, it's unlikely that too many changes will be made. Of the debutants, forward Relton Roberts seems the most likely to cough up his spot, and that could be to fellow promoted rookie Graham Polak if coach Damien Hardwick decides to add a bit of height. The Tigers' lack of hardness could mean a recall for the experienced Shane Tuck, even with his inconsistent disposal.

THE WESTERN Bulldogs are not expecting Richmond to make drastic changes to its side ahead of Sunday's clash, despite the Tigers' heavy round-one loss to Carlton.

Coach Rodney Eade said he believed Damien Hardwick would continue to show faith in his inexperienced group this week.

"They are a young squad and they're trying to implement a definitive game plan," Eade said on Wednesday.

"We've seen a bit of them over the pre-season and last week as well.
