Box Hill two misses and OOTF

Coburg  had a chance by the Burger player 52m out tried to pass it on top of Kingy's head who was outmarked because he is too short.

Terrible game of footy they're saying.

Coburg goes coast to coast. King set shot 45m 45 deg out. Goal  :gotigers

Newitt has made 15 changes so far this quarter rotating the RFC players.

Lawton dropped a sitter but backs up with a good tackle and then gets 50m after the Box Hill player gave the ump lip. Goal  :gotigers

44 - 21

5 to zip goals against the breeze. Kicking long and low down the corridor using switch of play.

King just ironed out Jarryd Morton in a fair hip and shoudler. TKO. Stretcher. Melee.

Ump let the game go and Box Hill got a goal

Polo gives away a stupid 50m penalty falling on a Box Hill player. Luckily the spud misses from 10m out.

Half-time

Coburg   2.2   7.3-45
Box Hill  3.1   6.4-40

Goals: Morton 2, Lawton 2, Polo, Roberts, King

David Rhys-Jones bagged Newitt for his quarter time address. Said it was too positive/soft and Coburg won't win too many games with that effort. Too bad Dave the Burgers kicked the next 5 goals straight  :wallywink.

WP's bests: Polo, King, Connors, Gourdis.

Just on the delayed telecast showed O'Reilly showing a good attack on the footy and then nice kick out in front to Morton on the lead which set up the first goal of the second quarter..

WBC commentators

Kadhlet, Carnell, Clifton, Polo good.
Connors has been pretty good.
Gus, Browne giving drive in the ruck
Roberts in "smooth" that boy.
King came into it in the 2nd quarrter. Throwing his weight around and influence a contest.

WBC radio commentators are bagging the Craigieburn ground  ::). Saying why the money wasn't used to upgrade Coburg's ground. It's too windy, "bugger all" shelter for fans if it rains and there's no public transport. Didn't the AFL learn from Waverley.

Someone should tell the dopey idiots about Craigieburn being a growth area  ::).

3rd quarter started. Box Hill point.

45 - 41
