If no option kick long to the boundary. But before kicking make sure numbers in the area. Play the percentages. Players need to work harder to create options. Ruckman needs to go into defence to create a target. Laziness on the behalf of the person kicking out as well as laziness of the players on the field causing the problem. Can't just wait for someone else to do it.

Look to see where the opposition ruckman is and kick it away from there.

Look to see how many RFC players are in the area and kick to a contest where we outnumber the opposition as well as where our better marking players and talls are.

If its a skill thing aim for the opposition jumper and they'll hit a teammate on the chest.

Could it be any simpler.

They brought up our kick-in woes on 'One Week At A Time' tonight. Something like only one of our 11 kick-ins after half-time got out of defensive 50 successfully. They showed each one after the other too  :P. The excuse given was it as typical of a bottom side with poor foot skills. Lack of precision to hit targets through a zone.

Agree with Tuckerbag. Talls need to present themselves. Really work to make an option.

Thankyou captain obvious
No one is arguing that they aren't a problem, however for you to say that they are instructed to kick to the tallest opposition is what is absolute garbage.

See you soon.  It IS frustrating to see the ball kicked in on top of the opposing ruckman's head, so something has to be done NOW.
