He's not retiring but how long is Fletcher going to keep going for?  Must be a sucker for punishment as the Bummers are going nowhere.

http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/103032/default.aspx

VETERAN Essendon defender Dustin Fletcher has signed a new one-year deal with the Bombers, while emerging midfielder Ben Howlett has penned a two-year contract.

Fletcher, at 35 the oldest player in the AFL, began his career with the Bombers in 1993 and has played in two premierships.

They still depend on Fletcher heavily even at his age. Oh well it's the Dons problem he's taking the spot of a youngster.

No
Plough chased Hooper remember. A lucky escape from another dud recycled player for us.

A shame Laycock is gone. His uncoordination and lack of footy smarts was always amusing to watch and bag during games against Essendon  ;D.
