An eight-goal third-quarter blitz set up a 47-point win in front of more than 6000 fans.
Robin Nahas booted four goals and collected 25 possessions as one of the best players on the field, while Graham Polak continued his purple patch with 20 touches, nine marks and two goals.
Dean Polo was outstanding across half back, particularly when the game was on the line in the first half, picking up 25 possessions, and Jeromey Webberley was busy all afternoon and racked up 20 disposals.
Gold Coast kicked the first three goals of the match, but Coburg dominated proceedings until three quarter time, when the lead was 64 points.
