Daniel Jackson, Richmond, has been charged with a level two engaging in rough conduct offence against Hayden Ballantyne, Fremantle, during the first quarter of the round 15 match between Richmond and Fremantle, played at Etihad Stadium on Saturday July 10, 2010.

In summary, his previous poor record means that his two-game penalty must remain at two matches, even with an early plea.

The incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), medium impact (two points) and body contact (one point). This is a total of five activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level Two offence, drawing 225 demerit points and a two-match sanction. He has an existing bad record of three matches suspended within the last three years, increasing the penalty by 30 per cent to 292.50 points. He also has 30 demerit points carried over from within the last 12 months, increasing the penalty to 322.50 points and a three-match sanction. An early plea reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to 241.88 points and a two-match sanction.

Jacko certainly shook the little twit up after he smacked him. 2 weeks is worth it I reckon.

Cousins is a good replacement for Jacko.

he's becoming a liability IMHO. Cant Kick and getting himself suspended all the time. At best he is a squad player.

Best piece of uninformed garbage I've read here in a while.

lol - I dont believe he is a Premiership player. If he makes a GF side he would be player 20 to 22. Hes a squad player. Beren your the type of bloke who would reckon that Jake King is a Richmond Premiership Player in the making along with Thomson and Hislop. You also probably wanted Rawlings to coach in front of Hardwick- you were probably one of the clowns running around contemplating running a petition to get Rawlings the Job- lol.

Difference between Jackson and Cousins is that Jackson has all the qualities of an ideal tagger while Cousins doesn't. With Jackson out we need to find someone with comparitive strength and endurance to fufill the role. King has been playing a sort of tagging role on players this year but we may need one other.

Including Cousins and Tambling should be an almost given. Replacing Griffiths with either Post or Gourdis is the other decision that needs to be made.

Interestingly, we don't have a lot of players who can tag.

yes but Cousins tags a tagger most times so can work both ways

Jacko has accepted the 2-week suspension. So he'll miss the North and Collingwood games.

Tiger Daniel Jackson will sit out the next two rounds for engaging in rough conduct against Fremantle's Hayden Ballantyne on Saturday night, bringing his tally of games missed through suspension to five for the season.

What on earth is with your fascination with Jade?
I certainly don't know him.

IIRC he was a real smart rs the 1st time we played them. Typical Docker, walks tall at Subi and goes missing in Melbourne. They can't win a flag with squibs like him, if fact they'll be lucky to win a final
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”
