so it seems that people were happy with Morton and Rance? The rest of the inclusions seem not up to it to me! You can put a line through afew out there after todays effort.
Nahas and Polo have a line through them. They're not going to get any better.

Post and Browne still have upside given their age and size but should go back to Coburg given they contributed nothing today. Mind you interesting if Hardwick gives them another game for the sake of playing and accessing the whole list and where it is at.

Nahas, Polo gone at the end of the year.

Yep, not a chance in hell of these 2 staying.  Given one of their last ever chances they were terrible today, both of them.

We'll need to find a trade for Nahas or pay him out, no?

are you suggesting that Nahas is contracted for another year? Please tell me your joking. I cant bear to watch him anymore.

Seriously watching him play is like listening to Kellie Underwood. We are kidding ourselves playing him in our team.

Given their post-1960 history I'll won't believe it until I see a cup in their hands. They were in this form and got the same result against us this time last year yet flopped when it mattered in finals. Geelong still have the class across the park.

Nahas received a 2-year deal at the end of last year.

Geelong have the better side no doubt. Thing with the pies is that unlike other years they can pile on the goals very quickly. They could blow away a game with a good quarter.

That said it looks like the most even competition in years with Hawthorn flying home and St Kilda thereabouts.

Yep I agree Jake it's down to those 4. The doggies could've been the fifth but they seem in disarray at the minute over the Aker sacking. Daylight to the rest.

Interesting that in terms of average games per player Collingwood today was at 110 and we just had 55. Almost half our side hasn't played more than 24 games each. The Pies had 10 players with 100+ games of experience. All up that's a massive gap in experience.

Lets just face it ...Collingwood have been a far superior team today.Plus with all our suspensions and injuries it could not of been a worse time to play the top team.

Just a very painful Saturday. Not only did the tigers get spanked...had to endure the commentary of Kelli Underwood.

Of the six inclusions, Mitch Morton was clearly the best.

Kelli Underwood. Is there anything worse.

She's pathetic. She sounds like she's holding her nose..

shes unlistenable. one of the reasons I stopped watching mind you our performance didnt help.

Facebook have a few pages on her.

How about we just let the coaching staff work with these players. Wallace & his coaching staff damaged most of the players ability & mentally crushed them. Unrest at the club & no confidence is good for no-ones moral.
Bad coaching cant be fixed in 1 season. New staff have got to see what they can do with what players they have inherited & then what players they draft to fit into place. What the club requires to build a solid performing side.  Then get them to learn the new coaches game plans & thier roles on field. It dont happen over pre-season & it certainly dont happen in the coaches 1st season at the club.
Its up to the players to decide their own fate & all players have already been told to perform for thier future.

everyone knew we were not upto beating or putting in a solid performance against a team that is a serious contender for the flag & sits clear on top of the ladder being the inform side.
Dane Swan has the Brownlow medal already stamped,  put your money on it.

l will sit back & watch who really wants to be in a Richmond jumper. l'm seeing improvement in players who l thought under Wallace were shocking & weak,  Have seen huge inprovements in 9 months.
So there is some hope for a few others under Hardwick. Time will tell but things have changed.  :thumbsup  :gotigers

Jack they won't be premiers because the 2010 Grand Final is in September and they haven't won one in September since 1958.

One premiership in 51 years might make them hungry, and they are playing good footy, but the footy gods still employ Collywobbles in September.

Once Grand Finals start to occur in October it might be a different matter.

Knew we were going to struggle. What I took out of the game is as follows. King, Morton and Rance had good games. King deserves to retain his spot in the team until season's end. Rance tackled well and his disposal was good. Deserves to retain his place for next week as does Morton who tried hard and took some good marks. Astbury was good. Polo is not going to make it as a footballer and should be delisted. Nahas is getting bumped off the ball too easily. His future is in the balance. Missed Will and Moore badly. McGuane played a very poor game. Not sure about Browne. Our ruck division was comprehensively beaten.  We were too slow getting it into the forward line and our disposal was very poor. for next week bring in Hicks, Taylor and Gourdis. Drop McGuane, Polo and Nahas

can someone explain why we didnt go man on man yesterday after doing it for the most part of the last month.

so many players with so much time and space all over the park particluary forward of centre.
Didak in particular. Davis  :banghead :banghead cant stand watching players like Davis run into form whrn they have been playing rubbish.

yep, your right Daniel. thats the reason Rance had so many possesions.
23 ,18 un contested as he stood 20 metres away from his opponent and then ran further away when we gained possesion
