Great news! But why do we seem to leave sponsor deals till the last minute?

Who said they've left it until the last minute?

They've been speaking to people, negotiating for months

I noticed Lids and the boys driving around in a V8 Holden with Greg Murphy. A hint?

Who are the major sponsors of Holden racing?

Greg Murphy's team is sponsored by Powerbuilt and Earthex.
And you may not think I care for you

Doubt it that was designed before we close to any new sponsors

And BTW I'd be surprised if it was Holden

Of all of Greg Murphy's sponsors i would have thought Castrol would be the one worth chasing, but they already sponsor a lot of the racing world.

If Holden or Toll were the new sponsor i'm guessing the Toll HRT team would have been involved.

Be a real coup if Holden is involved though, maybe they could paint that blimp of theirs Yellow and Black??

Toll is internationally owned and one of the largest logistics company in the world and by far the largest in Australia.
These days i would value Toll over Holden (as an indepentend from the GM group).
As i believe the Toll HRT team is sponsored by Toll because they dont have GM backing as such, they only have approval.

A company with a turn over around 6 billion (Aus alone) a year should be able to throw the Tiges a couple of million youd think.

Hahaha i actually work for Toll and they are the biggest tightarses going around! they wouldnt sponsor an AFL if they had a gun to thier head, they have been trying to get out of thier sponsorship with HRT for years and only did it because Paul Little the CEO is a massive fan, now he's leaving the company and id expect them to not re-sign when the current contract expires!
They are actually changing the logo color to Blue and yellow across all toll companies! similar to the navy and yellow that the eagles used to wear!
Pain is Temporary, Pride Lasts Forever!................Keep ya heads up Tiges!
