Darling is attending the Draft Combine (formerly the Draft Camp).

So too are Jared Polec and Brodie Smith. While Sam Day and Daniel Gorringe who still have finals will arrive for a day for interviews with clubs and to have psycho-motor and psychological testing.

More from DeepThroat on BF:

FJ has been keeping tabs on him since under 16's, that's Heppel that's who they want and thought they had him done and dusted with pick 6 until his 40 possies in the semi final, now the suns look likely to pick him up at 5 if he is not gone by 4, though there dilemma is Gaff, the Suns are desperate for him. Lynch is the other player we want if heppel is gone
at the moment it's line ball with which one they will go for if they had the choice, lynches engine is the key, his
beep test at the combine might be the convincing factor.

Because players like heppel who played state football under 16's, are invited to train amongst all the afl clubs. Each club nominates a player of choice, I think we have drafted some other players who have trained with us. On heppel though we were happy just to be left on the hbf where he was regarded highly but not a top 10 player, FJ saw him dominate in the state side in the under 16's where dominated the midfield which is where his natural position is, then last year for vic country he was put on hbf and was left there in the TAC Cup right up until finals this year where he dominated again. I don't think a) they thought he would be played there and b) if he did play there they didn't think he would dominate like he did, just a chance for us to watch him again if it occurred.

I want them all. They sound better than half our list. Imagine being a Gold Coast supporter, you'd be creaming your warrick cappers.

Have they signed any forwards yet? Who is going to kick their goals in Round 1? Sam Day? Wouldn't be surprised if they took the next best KPF at #5.

They have Dixon who has shown promise at VFL level and Steven May who was a NT zone selection as there potential key forward targets. Both have body's ready for AFL next year but by no means are they "sure things". I'd suspect they might take another forward target at their pick 5 as the best talls after Day are Gorringe and Lynch but after that there is a fair drop in quality.

I suspect RFC leaking they are interested in taking Lynch and also being linked to Gorringe is a ploy to force GC's hand
It'll be interesting to see what WCE do at #4, I still reckon they will take Darling

According to the AFL site Gaff will go either pick 4 (WCE) or 5 (GC). They are saying Richmond has got no chance to get him at pick 6.

yeah i agree, i think with ablett now confirmed they will likely take a KP at 5. If available I hope we take Darling, just  very impressed with him, got impact player written all over him. If hes taken, either one of Heppel/Gorringe will suffice.
