THIS IS THE TYPE OF TRADE THAT RFC HAS DONE THAT HAS COST THE CLUB ALOT OF GOODWILL FROM SUPPORTERS. WE DONT NEED GRIGG. LOOKS LIKE SHORT CUTS ARE BACK. WHAT A SHAME!

The Age newspaper reports Grigg is keen to get to Richmond and could form part of a deal which would see Tigers defender Will Thursfield join the Blues.

don't really like this as i have a bad feeling we will pay overs for him like we always seem to do for recycled players. The only thing positive i can say is i was actually impressed with how he played this season when he got into the side

I really haven't seen much of him. NAB rising star nom in 2008. Spoke with a couple of Carlton people I know and they both said they rate him pretty highly so ? I'm gonna have to trust the RFC on this one for now I think ?

had him on bench in one of the coach comps, but dropped him when he didn't get games.

Not bad stats according to this, more upside than Tambling and Sherman and nice height too. Depends on the deal really.

Ooh please give me a spell. He is crap.

If someone else posts that a Calton supporter rate him i will fair dinkum spew. Like they have any idea they are as dumb as dog poo.

Grigg, Houli are useless and we dont need any of them. If true i cant understand why dump Will for this hack. :banghead :banghead

Its like dumping Pettifer and recruiting Thompson :banghead :banghead

Dimmas success rides on short cuts and if this is true we have learnt nothing from our past failures.

Greg Swann said they were negotiating with Grigg up to yesterday morning when Grigg told him he wants to be traded to Richmond because he'll be given more opportunity. Swann said these things don't always happen and they'll only do it if they get something coming the other way that they want.

Big generalization there mate. The bloke I spoke to goes and watches Carlton every week and knows his footy. I said I hadn't seen much of Grigg so I asked someone who has. Prett simple hey ?

Carlton supporters are probably saying the same thing. All they would remember about Thursfield was that he was the bloke Fevola took to the cleaners and kicked a pile of goals on him.

Its like dumping Pettifer and recruiting Thompson :banghead :banghead
It's nothing like that at all.

Correct. You can add Vespremi to that list as well. Anything Sydney offload is a hint they are no good.

The only player i would take in a heartbeat that has been bandied around is Mitch Clark.
