Bowden was stuffn useless.

Cheating, showboating idiot.

Apparently he and Newman have been "stars".

Geez, what would one give for 22 Newmans or Bowdens in your team....

Bowdo was a gun.

Fair call

I like when he would blatantly pretend to juggle a mark and gain 2 feet.
Too bad the umpires just shook their heads.

Also I liked when his team mates were involved in physical altercations,
How he would ignore it.

I liked how he would always pull out of contesting the ball at the last second when it was him and another player running towards each other.

I like how he exploited the kick in rule thus rewarding Richmond with the title of
"Most unsportsmanlike method of victory in afl history"
Caracella and Balmey.

I like how he would bugger kicking the ball in from full back before actually kicking the ball, by either miskicking the obligatory ball to himself or by stepping over the line.

Then on odd occasions you'd get a combination of both. One of those rare gems was like unwrapping a golden ticket.

You 2 should get a room
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Grigg grows in new role

“I’m open to whatever gets thrown my way . . . it’s just good to have a couple of different strings to the bow,” he said.

“If the boys need me to play on someone I can, or if they need me to go and get the ball, then I’ll try and do that.

“I just want to contribute.  Not looking too far ahead, just whatever the start of the season throws at me.

“Half the battle is staying on the park, so that’d be my No. 1 goal – to look after the body and get as fit as I can in the meantime.”

........., or if they need me to go and get the ball, then I’ll try and do that.

That would make a refreshing change.

it sure would , geez maybe he can make some effective tackles this yr while hes at it or just once put his head over the ball.

its funny we all bitch and moan and demand kids be played in his place,  but we all know in our hearts hardwick will pick him most weeks.

Recruiting of tools like this is what he turned me against the club.

not so much the recruiting because i will put my hand up and say he was okay at the beginning, but the continual selection of these types is a disgrace.

I still cant understand how he and newman get games i really cant.

They both should have been sacked years ago
