Apparently Grigg told the club, if he didn't get another year he was going to get depression.

Seriously
Both deserve contract extension
Both average 25 possessions a game
And Shaun will finish top 5 in the B&F
Well done to both I say

Going to open myself up a bit here but the Grigg one doesn't poo me too much but the Houli one? The dude already has a year to run why the hell are we falling over ourselves to sign him for another year? It makes no sense :banghead :banghead

Oh, and for the sake of it I'm going to toot my own horn a little here

Heard they'd come to an agreement re: contract extension during the week. Explains his drop in form

Surprised grigg didn't wait to see if deledio was staying or going.
Does anyone have half an idea on anything?

If going to retain him for another year should not be played in the midfield. Should be played as a half forward. His poor tackling is a liability in the midfield.

Has another year to run, has told the press he is not going anywhere. Maybe that was enough.

No, now that he is retained his a depth / back up player only. not in the first 22 every week. Must be outside the top 25 = the back up crew

Agree with what you are saying but I doubt Hardwick will use him that way. He will be in the first 22 every week.

I could deal with him being depth but what's the chances of that happening?
