Yeah this is what happens when u hand a star player to your arch enemy coach.  Play him in the wrong position, in a brutal ruck pos no less. Why would he play him in mid?  saving the glory for his precious dane swan.

Tiger Jack Riewoldt faces late test
Daryl Timms in Dublin
Herald Sun

COLEMAN Medallist Jack Riewoldt is battling flu on the eve of tomorrow morning's second International Rules Test against Ireland at Croke Park.

Riewoldt, who had quiet debut in the hybrid game at Limerick last weekend, must prove his fitness at Australia's final training session today.

The Aussies won but Jack shouldn't have played. He only had a couple of touches all night.

Yep that's the main thing. Let's hope Jack gets over his flu before he returns so he doesn't pass it on to the rest of his Tiger teammates.

Jack Riewoldt is great unique guy; not arrogant: Matthew Boyd (Herald-Sun)
« Reply #35 on: November 01, 2010, 02:53:36 AM »
Interesting comments by Boyd on how our Jack is perceived from afar compared to the real Jack.....

Matthew Boyd also went away with more respect and a better understanding of the other players on the tour, including Richmond's Coleman Medallist Jack Riewoldt.

"I thought maybe he was a little bit arrogant or maybe he is bit different," Boyd said.

"But he is just a great guy, he is a really good fellow and he is a boys' boy and all his teammates love him. I think he is unique more than anything.

Yeah Jack always struck me as someone just determined to succeed.  Funny that he got seen as arrogant though, definitely cheeky,

What is the one finger for? His disposals for the game?  :lol

He didn't get injured, that is the main thing.

Fooking hell, who cares about his 1 finger or his disposal count, the code is slop.

Good experience and came out unscathed. Also keeps him away from celebrating a Coleman medal out on the town in the off season. He'll come back and pre season will be round the corner. He'll be fitter than the others aswell.
Go Tigers!

He was recovering from the flu and probably shouldn't have played at all so who cares how many touches he got?
