Well done Jack.  :thumbsup Remember to keep your feet on the ground. Drop off next year and it'll all be for naught.

Any chance O'Reily might play for the Irish you think?

I think it is a bigger honour then people think.

The pride of The Australian Crest and playing for your country, not matter what sport it is, is a huge honour.

Touchwood no injury and it doesn't muck up his preseason given the IR series delays the start of preseason for all those who play in it.

Jack should be good at IR btw given he's good in the air as well dangerous at ground level with his footy smarts and spatial awareness.

Malthouse talking about our Jack on the Irish tour....

No one could argue, surely, about Jack Riewoldt. He's inexperienced but he's won the Coleman Medal, he's kicked goals from everywhere, as he's informed me he's played soccer, so he will immediately attract attention.

I'm 100% of having as many players play in the International Rules.

I'd risk injury to get the experience and teachings of a Mick Malthouse for our young players. Jack has only everything to gain on the trip good on him.

We don't need his teachings Pope, Jacks doing fine without them so far.  Would much rather other clubs were not getting in his ear, peeing in his pocket while he is still young and impressionable, or him doing a knee in a kick and giggle.

Hate this whole international rules thing.

Seriously I cannot see the point and I don't think the risk of any form of injury is worth it

Agree the hybrid game is a waste of time.

Bring back State of Origin and play it in October instead.
