Interesting to see how Reece goes tonight. Almost the forgotten Tiger with how long he's been out of the team.

Richmond assistant coach Brendon Lade said Conca would complement the Tigers’ midfield group.

“He’s had two games in the VFL and played some really good footy.  He had a lot of touches last week (28 disposals v Sandringham),” he said.

“He’s something we need in our midfield – that little zip-around mid – so we’re happy with that.”

Not as crazy as it sounds.

Conca compliments the team perfectly. His tools are great foil for Lids, Chimp etc.

It's not so much that he played well, more like he played like a bloke who wasn't returning from injury.

I think he played well and is important structurally. He's that missing rotation. His quickness was surprising too

Or hampered by it in the slightest.

But most importantly he played with confidenc, speed and silk. This is not the Conca of the last 18 months.

Thought he was good last night and as NickSimo said, helped the rotations immensely.  Our midfield collectively were stars, never gave their much-vaunted mids a break and pressured them into mistakes and turnovers all night, not an easy kick to be seen.

He was very good last night for mine, clean, sharp and gave us that extra rotation through the midfield. Very impressive considering the time he's been out
