I agree torch. I understood the footy educational benefit but it was a tough intro to AFL footy playing as our main small defender. Daly said today Conca will now remain in the midfield which is good news. That's where he played last year as a junior.

He's a keeper all right. There may be a better player in last years draft but I think we picked well. Doubt there is a better player after 6, maybe some equals. Heppel may be a star for Essendon but I don't think Conc's will disgrace us or himself.

Good bump of a thread WAT. Very happy with how Conca is developing and travelling. Has walked into the side and now that he is playing through the midfield in his more natural position he is showing why he was a first round pick.

Seems like a natural midfielder. Good addition to the team. And showed some courage in the last quarter as well in defence which was excellent. Good stuff from the kid.

He just looks so composed doesn't he MT, makes very good choices, neat skills too. Can't wait to see him in the mid with the rest of them.

Justifying his pick 6 selection with every passing week is Reece. You feel confident when the ball is in his hands as he uses it well and he's gotten over 20 possies consistently over the past 3 weeks since moving into the midfield/wing. Reece deserves a rising star nomination but this week will probably go to Jack Darling by the sound of it.
