Hopefully 16th, if we can't make the 8.

12th

I think we will finish above the following

16th - Hawthorn - got rid of too many senior players, got rid of vice captain, No real stand out captain unless they give it to crawford.  VERY, very small list.  An injury to Spider would cement them in last spot

15th - Nth Melbourne - Could go down to the wire to finish on the bottom.  I think with the retirements and the strange drafting applied, I think they are in for a torrid year

14th - Collingwood -  They are an average team, and I believe other lists and coaching changes will keep these guys down

13th - Adelaide - Poor list, poor draw, a few players ready for retirement.  Depending on the New lease of life from McLeod, we will either finish here or there

Every other team should finish above us next year

I think we will get around 7, 8 or 9 wins

14th - Collingwood -  They are an average team, and I believe other lists and coaching changes will keep these guys down

If they lose Tarrant or puff puff long term then the maggies will struggle to win a game. Their whole gameplan revolves on those two in their forward otherwise they are stuffed as you can shut out easily one of them.

Craig and Laidley remind me of Spud in different ways. Laidley's recruiting of rejects and Craig's matchday coaching. That Crows v Roos game late last year where 1 goal was kicked between them in perfect conditions for footy was up there with some of Spud's efforts in terms of the worst footy spectacle-wise you will ever see  :sleep.

Those ladders dont look to bad MT and LT. You have to consider that we won 4 games last year, we have got rid of Spud and got Wallace that should give us 1 or 2 more - got rid of some real duds that should not of been playing and stocked up on what looks like good young blood - maybe worth another win or 2. That will put us 6 to 8 wins and with a bit of momentum and confidence (which we had none of last year) who knows. So in my totally biased hopeful opinion anywhere between 6 - 12 odd wins. It would be really hard seeing us make the 8 BUT stranger things have happened. :gobdrop Then steady improvement for a Flag within the next 3 - 4 years  :cheers

I reckon somewhere between 7th and 11th  ;) ;D

If we get off to the flying start I am expecting then anything will become possible........................... :thumbsup

It is the second half to the season that will determine the finish IMO - that is how much we (read: the young blokes) drop away

We still have a bit of rebuilding to do and most of the new recruits will probably need 6-8 games under their belt so I think we will finish 9th. Obviously I'm hoping for much higher but I had a bet with someone on another forum last year that we would make the 8 which obviously backfired on me so I will be much more conservative this year. I think if Cogs can stay on the park for most of the year, and he forms a good combination with Simmo or the Nobel one they should do some serious damage to the opposition and may even put us in the 8.
