The question is so fair and obvious that an answer should have been given before the question was even asked.

"It wasn't awarded after the game because..."

It took 22 hours from the final siren for the winner to be announced – without even a comment from the winner or a photo to show he had received it – just a hastily put together re-hash of the article that was published on the club's website last week.

Exceptionally poor effort or a set of exceptional circumstances?

They should use the coaches votes for the medal.

Some of the voting from the journos was ridiculous. I take it some of them weren't at the match. TW is on another planet I'm sure.

No offense to Ty since he did have a good game but, and no offense to Cotch either, how on earth did Cotch nearly win it?

Actually, on reflection, any of Jake from the Blues Brothers excuses for jilting the Carrie Fisher character at the alter when pleading for forgiveness in the sewer would be better excuses than the one given
