Serious question: Can anyone actually remember the last time Newy was in our bests or had any significant impact on the game?
I genuinely cant.   >:(

IIRC he had a mini purple patch in the middle of 2012 setting us up of half back which was one of the main reasons we were briefly in Finals  contention......until Lyon figured him out in that match where Fremantle finally broke their MCG hoodoo, then all the other coaches followed and the dream was over for yet another year.

But before that...I'd say no, not since he was about 21.....

I vaguely remember this patch. Distant memories now.

He's had an amazing career.

It's amazing he's had one.

Time to help the RFC ressies. They got slaughtered by 20 goals today. If he's lucky he might play 230 games for the ressies with no finals.

Yep that's pathetic.

He's got his final. Needs to play VFL to help the kids.
