Also showing the wave going through the streets.

7th largest recorded earthquake in Japan. Herald-Sun now saying it's a 8.9  :o.

10m wall of water hitting coastal towns in Japan near the earthquake epicentre.

Tsunami warnings have been extended and are now in place for Australia, New Zealand,  Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Taiwan, Philippines, Guam, the entire coast of Central and South America, Hawaii, the US West Coast, Japan, Russia, Marcus Island and the Northern Marianas.

There certainly appears to be an increase in natural disasters in recent times. A lot of sudden mass extinctions too.

I'm no bible basher, nor am I religious, but gee, I get the sense that something seems to be unfolding...

It gets worse.... :-\

Japan declares Nuclear emergency

THE Japanese Government has declared an atomic emergency and told thousands of residents living near a nuclear plant in Fukushima to evacuate, warning a small amount of radiation could be released.

The amount of radiation has reached about 1000 times the normal level in the control room of the No. 1 reactor of the Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant, the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency said.

The discovery suggests radioactive steam could spread around the facility operated by Tokyo Electric Power Co.

I don't think you can link libya and iraq to natural disasters.
The nuclear plant issues sounds pretty serious. releasing radioactive steam.

But Libya issue is due to a old man willing to murder his own people that want to be free and have a choice in who runs the country.
Natural Disasters is out of humans control.

No it's just the saturation of media coverage that gives this impression. If you watch natural history docos you will see that natural distars are common, and that weather related ones in particular go in cycles. '74 was the last bad la nina pattern that bought much flooding to eastern Australia for example ( which are related to cyclones getting drawn south).

There is evidence that the earth has been through some 'natural distasters' of a scale that is simply frightening, at various stages of its history. Humans' time on this planet is a mere blip in time,( yet we have done so much damage to it in this time) so even what we have seen since records were kept is not the bigger picture, let alone what we have seen in our individual lives.

Sometimes i wonder though, if the earth is trying to rid itself of the scourge called humans in the same way we try to rid ourselves of parasites that do us harm.
