Agree. Had one good year as a ruck, a position the figjam now refuses to play. Last two years he's been average.

He's certainly never given us any trouble, 4 goals in his entire career against the Tiges.

Barrett reckons Macaffer hasn't been offered a new contract by Collingwood and will be squeezed out. No interest at the trade table for him from other clubs because other clubs know they will be able to get him in the draft (National/PSD).

Mitch Clark trade to Melbourne for pick 12 just confirmed by Brisbane. Paperwork to be lodged tomorrow. Their press release said "unfortunately Fremantle's initial offer was below expectations."

Brisbane Lions twitter:
"The Lions can confirm that the Club won't be offering both Picks 8 & 12 to Adelaide for Kurt Tippett as has been rumoured"

Clark must have found a long lost relly in Melbourne and changed his mind . Then again playing for Freo and singing that song is a fate worst than death  .

No wonder the Dees are happy only having to cough up pick 12. They should play finals next year if Neeld is any decent coach.

If that deal is legit then Knights body is cooked. And we are then trading Nason, Edwards for 24 and Knights big salary that IIRC was bumped up thanks to us last year
