Would take that! Chaplin is defiantly the type of back we need!

At 26 he is 3 years to old for us IMHO.

Hopefully still has at least 3 years of senior footy ahead. Would be a good transition player for some of our younger defenders IMO.
Thursfield, McGuane and Moore are our senior backs and all are battlers (Moore's battle is injury).

Not for the Compo pick IMHO. If we use that pick next year in a supposedly very strong draft, we would likely be getting a 10 year player, based on the recent recruiting efforts of FJ.

A caller to SEN earlier reckoned we were chasing Crow Patrick Dangerfield (although he could have just been reading BF). Dangerfield apparently signed a two-year deal in 2010 so SEN don't believe he is out of contract.

Bottom line he is contracted until the end of 2012 and I cannot see Adelaide trading him.
