Too many passengers for Richmond.

Miller, Edwards, nason all ineffective. Deledio and captain quiet

Miller provided an option, made Brisbanes defence accountable along with Vickery so they couldn't triple team Jack.
Nason kicked 2 goals?

Bad call.

Rance's best most complete game for the club. His improvement has been staggering tbh from last season to now. His spoiling, body work, strength, DECISION MAKING  and skills have gone through the roof.

Nahas - his last 2 weeks have been sensational. Gives us another much needed dimension, is becoming very damaging and his mistakes are diminishing.

Thought Miller has stabilised/organised our forward structure, tonight included - he just needs to bloody kick some goals - momentum killer.

I know Nason gets no love here but thought he was good tonight, love his run.

One problem we have is that our bit part players who play a defined role go completely missing when our stars get shut down ala the 3rd quarter. Players like White, King, Edwards, Nason need to take a leaf out of nahas's book and get in there and help out when the chips are down.

Im sorry but I've really gone off Edwards as a player completely. I know he did some good things in close but he makes me want to go hooligan when he has the ball 'outside'. He's a heart in your mouth type player everytime he gets the damn ball!

Thought Vickery's game was about as good as we've seen from him. His body work is improving and I loved his tackle on McGrath and the way he rubbed it in when he had him down, showed some ****!

Apart from that Martin was awesome, Foley was very very good, Cotchin started well but faded, Conca is coming along well, Deledio was solid, King (another 3 goals lol) and ofcourse jack is a bloody gun 5 goals - great tussle with Merrett

We've definitely improved but we still have a long way to go - hate it when we get too cute

edit: forgot to add what was with Grigg's performance tonight? Was he right? bc he looked like he was running with cement boots, seemed to be labouring bigtime

Great post tm.

Grigg wasn't sensational but very good. Went to Black and shut him down at stages.

Houli was also very good in the backline.

The whole side was very good.

Only ones disappointing were Graham and Edwards.

a very good win.
brisbane never threw in the towel. to see the way the boys can withstand opposition pressure,  :cheers unlike the wallet years.

that win means so much more than if we had beaten a rabble like port!

they stood up when it was needed to stand up  :thumbsup

still a long way to go but very good signs  :gotigers

I made my comment at 3quarter time. Nason had a ggod last quarter, however the other 2 were rubbish.

Just arrived back. 40k must have North shaking their heads at their pathetic 16k today

Good solid win tonight. Had to win and we did.

Nahas and King played great games.

Love Grimes down back. Just needs size. Houli good game but Power did sneak in 4 goals.

Cant complain about Edwards tonight. 20 possys is a good day out compared to what he has been dishing up.

Loved Vickery tonight. Laid some serious tackles which resulted in goals. Good work back to his form of a few weeks back.

martin 10 kicks 4 handballs and a goal!  :thumbsup
Plus 6 clangers

Ekto do you cut yourself?

Life is good mate, smile.
I'm missing something Pope.
10 kicks in the first quarter is a lot different to 10 kicks, but six missed and were rebounded for opposition scores.
We need to keep it real mate.

Just seemed far to quick to shoot it down.

As far as 6 clangers goes I'm not sure what game or stats your watching he finished the night with 5 clangers from 30 possessions @ 66% efficiency.

Add 1 goal, 7 possessions resulting in a tiger goal.

On the back of a 33 possie, 4 goal BOG with stupid media hype.

Its a reasonable return.

It's probably OK to be excited about, not everything has to be bad in this world.

martin makes some serious clangers at times.

disposal mistakes someone with his talent shouldn't make. he needs to eradicate that from his game.

he is something special though.

Chimp looked off the pace tonight. Possibly suffering from the heavy knock he got to the ribs last week.

Grigg had a shocker with the boot.

Nahas played his best game for the club and great to have the VC back :thumbsup

The thing I liked about this game when I saw the result and last weeks game is the amount of goals we have scored. 18 today is a great result, Jack only (only...hehe) kicked 5 so our spread of goal kickers has lifted..great to see!
