We'll finally start getting father/son guns now that they're going to cost us an arm and a leg, instead of a 3rd rounder.

Yep seems a bit unfair

What's the point just bet the best player
Then he grabbed two chopsticks and stuck them in his mouth , pretending to be a walrus

Patrick Naish has Lids and the team as his main banner on twitter. Chris has brought him up well  ;D.

I would be so pleased to see some quality father sons coming through our club in the next few years to compliment our list

There could be another Northern Knights’ player on Richmond’s list in the not-too-distant future . . .

The Tigers are closely monitoring the progress of talented father-son prospect Patrick Naish – and they like what they’ve seen so far from him.

Patrick is the son of Chris Naish, who played 143 games for Richmond from 1990-97.

He was recently awarded an AFL Academy scholarship following his impressive performances for Vic Metro at this year’s under-16 national championships.

Young ‘Naishy’ likewise shone throughout the 2015 season at under-16s level with the Northern Knights.

That will be right, we finally get some F/S options when they have started costing an arm and a leg.

Jesse Maxfield, the son of former Sydney Swans and Richmond midfielder Stuart, will play for the Sandringham Dragons this year and the Swans will monitor his progress across the year. Stuart played 204 games for the Swans between 1996-2005, but his 89 games for the Tigers will see him fall short of qualifying as a father-son option for Richmond.

Your club's future father-son prospects
Herald-Sun
5 April 2016

Looking ahead to future drafts, Richmond could have its first father-son pick since Tom Roach in 2003 in Patrick Naish, son of Chris who played 153 games for the Tigers from 1990-97. The Northern Knights midfielder was awarded a scholarship to join the AFL Academy after impressing for Vic Metro in last year’s under-16 carnival on the Gold Coast and is high on the radar for 2017 draft.

Bailey Lambert, son of Craig, is a member of the GWS academy.

Surely academies can't overrule the Father Son connection?

Surely academies can't overrule the Father Son connection?

Clubs bid for father/sons just like they do for the academy players these days
