I might be a "glass half full" kinda guy but after watching the replay I was left thinking "what if".

What if Astbury didn't go down in the opening minutes.
What if Sydney didn't kick that goal with 30 seconds left in the 1st Q
What if Sydney didn't kick that goal with a minute left in the 2nd Q
What if Sydney didn't kick 3 goals in 3 minutes in the last Q.
What if Cotchin had kicked that goal with 90 seconds left.
What if mother nature hadn't conspired against us in the last 5 minutes.

While your looking at "what ifs" mat073

I am asking why

Why do we continue to allow opponents to score goals in juck time against us )dee qtrs 1 & 2 Sunday)- been happening all season

Why does Cotchin seem to miss so many "clutch" goals? as the annointed future captain - he has to nail them

Why do we persist with trying to play dry weather footy when it's bucketing rain?

As for your "what ifs" about:

Astbury - injuries you cannot control, and there's guarantee him being there would have made a difference

The weather: can't control that

Cotch misses alot of goals, easily his biggest thing to work on.

Compare Dusty and Cotchin in front of goal Dusty never misses.

Could Dusty be our next captain?
