I'm going to the draft on Thursday night and I can tell you that if we pick Williams and Maric I will not be happy!! :banghead
I may be forced to make my feelings felt with a few choice words from the stalls.  :chuck

Kavanagh is acceptable but certainly not my first choice at 15 by any means. Personally I think this guy is way off the mark and like all other phantom drafts they are pure speculation.
I do get the feeling that our very own phantom draft may pick a few winners this year.

OK so has anyone actually watched Marley Williams play or is it because he's just not that popular on the forums?

I've watched him and my reason for not wanting him is based on the fact that he is a short, run and bomb type flanker/mid. We've had too many of these types of players in the past and they have done us no favours. We need scalpel precision type flankers who can deliver accurately lace out into the forward 50 ala Brad McKenzie. I'm not saying the kid can't play, He can, and has a nice solid build and good pace but not good enough for our first two picks. I'd consider him at 55 though.

He's one of the best kicks in the draft, but anyway.

Get to know Shane Kersten guys, if he falls to us.

Vickery, Riewoldt, Kersten already has me so excited.

I actually like the thoughts of Elton coming to the Tigers, if he was there at Pick 26 that would be fantastic.

First choice at 15 has to be either Adams, Docherty or Mackenzie.

That is based on what I have seen, not on forum speculation.  ;)

He may be a powerful long kick but that does not always mean an elite kick. Awareness and timing are far more important than distance. Just have a look at how effortlessly McKenzie delivers into the F50. Its like poetry in motion or how docherty delivers to advantage from the back flank. These guys have elite foot skills.

McKenzie might be a nice kick, but so is Mitch Farmer. McKenzie is very slow and I don't think he'll make it at AFL level. So much group think going on at the moment and way too much love for McKenzie.

I've been seeing his name pop up quite a bit in the last few days.
And you may not think I care for you
When you know down inside that I really do

I'd like to see an 100m sprint between Gus and McKenzie.

McKenzie actually finished equal 10th in the 20m sprint . . . he is deceptively quick, much like Cotchin.  :thumbsup

Add Mitch Grigg here as well, looks great.

Top 10 in the agility test too, purpose of which is to test speed and quickness amongst other KPIs

beat me to it Gerks and JVT.

Cotch, I think you might need to reconsider your "slow" tag of McKenzie. Too much evidence to suggest he is not slow at all.

Jye Bolton from Collingwood has dropped off the face of the earth, weren't we interested in this kid? There was talk we'd got him to walk. Pick 55? Rookie pick?
