Edwards was actually fined for wearing his mothers dress in the change rooms at half time..

No, but I heard enough and read enough of MT's report during the game, Edwards is not an AFL footballer, people need to realise that.

Shaun Grigg, Richmond, has been charged with a first offence for engaging in a melee at quarter-time of the Round 16 match between Richmond and Essendon, played at the MCG on Saturday July 9, 2011.
 
In summary, he can accept a $1200 sanction with an early plea.
 
A first offence for engaging in a melee is a $1600 sanction. An early plea reduces the penalty by 25 per cent to a $1200 sanction.

Other Incidents Assessed:
Contact between Richmond's Tyrone Vickery and Essendon's Patrick Ryder from the quarter-time break of Saturday's match was assessed. The impact was below the force required to constitute a reportable offence. No further action was taken.
 
Contact between Richmond's Jake King and Essendon's Angus Monfries from the fourth quarter of Saturday's match was assessed. The impact was below the force required to constitute a reportable offence, as a medical report from the Essendon Football Club said player Monfries was not treated for any injury for the contact. No further action was taken.
