Lade on 3aw @ 12.30pm
« Reply #32 on: July 24, 2011, 12:51:45 PM »
Lade just on 3aw said today is about tackling and pressure. We also plan to make Scarlett accountable to a man and limit Harry Taylor's ability to take so many marks in our defensive 50.

Lade believes we have improved this year because last year we copped many floggings while this year we've been competitive in most games apart from a couple of blowouts. Defensively we have improved while we need to get back to how we were playing offensively in the first half of the season.

He was asked a loaded question about whether as a coach would he prefer to play in Melbourne rather than Darwin. Lade said right while the side is developing it's about building up our resources but in 2-3 years time when we are a good side he'd expect that situation to change.

First turnover in first 2 mins  :P. Thankfully it doesn't cost us a goal.

Martin playing up forward alongside Jack and Vickery.

Jackson I know we have been on his back the last few weeks but he has been just terrible.

Rance has been good for us. Poor kid will have the ball there for most of the day.

Rance will make mistakes but has made 4 spoils already.

Yet Scarlett will be All Australian and hasn't raised a sweet yet lol.
