I can tell you this
It was a joke that we wasted a draft pick on a player that had only played 3 games of TAC.
Thats why we are where we are. :banghead :banghead

Oh stuff me sideways. Threads like this make me pine for the good old days of Beige and that includes the PM snooping.

yeah, i've read that comment many, many times JJ, What i have never heard from you about him is a comment on his football ability, although i'm pretty we will hear some pre conceived comment shortly.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Matt Dea, cannot play full stop.
He is even to scared to kick the ball. :banghead
Matt Dea, can play full stop.
Why are you so bitter? Its quite sad reading your posts.

Not bitter at all, I am a realist, not a dreamer
Why on earth are guys such as Hicks and Dea at the club amazes me
And yes, I seen him play TAC :banghead
Dea played 3 games at TAC level and gets drafted :banghead :banghead :birthday
i want the club to succeed,
You're not a realist. A more accurate description would be extremist. Some balance to your thoughts would be good. I think Dea has future but I do agree with you re Hicks.

Hicks is no good.
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

Dea has a kicking issue which was well documented at his time at TAC, ( 3 games ::))
watching the Port melbourne game today, there is at least 5-6 players who are miles better than Dea.
Nothing against the kid, he should of stuck to basketball

dont know how old Valenti and Cain are at Port , but they would be miles better than Dea.
You blokes should watch some football
you might then understand why  RFC are so poor .

Dea would have played most games this year if ijury had not taken him out.
You said he played 3 games at TAC so what he was not even on there list at North Ballarat.
He played school footy and got the call up to the state draft screen so some other clubs must have seen something in him as well.
I think he will be around for a long time if he gets his boby right.

Curnow and Duigan?

Both would have been lucky to have had 10 possessions tonight....

Not sure what else anyone was expecting from Coburg today with Tuck and Morton taken out of their already poor Coburg side/list. Sure their were 10 RFC players but most are within their first 2 years on our list and either late picks or rookies so most won't make it.

Post (I think he rucked today  :P )
Dea, Nason, Webberley, MacDonald
Miller, Hislop, Jakobi, O'Reilly, Hicks

A bare minimum half of the above won't be at Punt Rd next year. We all know already we have no depth.

MT,
if the club were fair dinkum
None of the above will be at Punt Road.
We might as well keep turning them over
