Thought Gus did alright yesterday .... history tells us he was due to play an OK game

Just a pity he can't do it consistently.... one reasonable game and then he goes missing for weeks

Wouldn't have done his trade value any harm though  ;D :rollin :cheers

Who is going to buy a ruckman from a club that is quite literally crying out for a decent ruckman?

Graham won't last long unless he stops looking at his opponent at centre bounces. Does it everytime and loses site of the ball and loses the contest unless his opponent mistimes their leap or doesn't jump either. He has to look at the ball and not take his eye off it until he has jumped high enough and at the right time to win the tap out

Gus was wacko when he was browne age.

With simmonds etc. He was played in the 2s more

Browne really shouldn't be judged for another season or two yet and be given the chance to develop. If you look at most a and b grade afl ruckman many were rubbish up untill mid/late 20s

Greg Denim was just on SEN saying "the Maric deal will be one of the first done in trade week. Said he is not sure if he's much better than Graham but he is Tough and Graham and Browne will both learn from him".

I say WTF, why would we bother with someone only a little better than what we have? and if we get Maric surely one of Gus or Browne will have to go anyway?

Played golf in the W/e, spoke to a bloke who has a lot of inside goss on Adelaid/Maric, evidently he is prone to make bad decisions, his games are hot and cold, has no consistent form and they are happy to get rid of him. Sounds like a dud to me.

would prefer to take an older decent ruckman like hille for 2-3 years while we develop a promosing youngster or two than a 23/24 year old who isn't much of an improvement on what we have
