Tigers roam the desert

Sabino Canyon in Tucson Arizona’s Coronado National Forest is home to an abundance of wildlife, including coyotes, deer, rabbits, rattlesnakes, tarantulas, birds, tortoises, mountain lions, and a smelly, pig-like desert dweller called a javelina.

The natural desert oasis can now lay claim to another fearsome beast - the King of the Jungle - the mighty Tiger of the Richmond Football Club variety . . .

The Tigers descended on Sabino Canyon for an early morning hike, as part of their pre-season training camp in Arizona, with the players split up into five teams, each of them departing at five-minute intervals.

They took more than three hours to complete the hike, as they negotiated the steep inclines and declines, while keeping a close eye out for any other local ‘nasties’ that could have spoiled the trek.

My Red Wings aren't doing too shabby (all Datsyuk and Lidstrom), except when they went down to the Wilds I was nearly as gutted as when we (Richmond) lost to the Suns :(

Haven't dominated quite as much since the introduction of the salary cap. Datsyuk is a freak though and is an offensive line onto himself. Depth is pretty good but. Despite being old as the hills they've still got Osgood and Draper even though they usually only see games in the affiliates. I reckon the Capitals would nearly have this season's cup in the bag already though.

Anyway... That's my last off topic post :p I should venture to the general forum when I get home from work and get some hockey talk happening :) it's surely going to be more exciting than this summer's cricket unless the Kiwis want to stay bent over.
