Just can't see it happening TBH
From what i've heard Brown is definitely one of the pre-listed players GWS want to keep

I'm pretty sure they can't "keep" them.  The pre-list thing is basically a means of them being able to on-trade players to clubs for draft picks / players.

That's the -17yr olds like O'Meara and Kennedy. This kid will be 19 next year.

Thats correct. We have put it to them though so will be interesting to see. Would take there 2nd rounder for him. Happy either way.

No, I'm pretty sure pre-listing works the same way.  Players that were pre-listed last year include Mzungu, Krakouer, Ceglar, Richardson, Faulks, Bewick.  They were all on-traded.

Luke Brown, 18yr old HBF/mid from Norwood already playing seniors
Good shoe, nice 'n quick
Pretty sure GWS wanted to hang on to him
Would love him for Jackson  :gotigers

some of the highlights (and they are just highlights) are very positive. Nice kick of the footy, good speed, good size. If we manage to offload Jackson for Brown then that is a win for the footy department.

Does it mean by default Brown becomes a whipping boy or we have to find someone else?

New whipping boy? WTF? If we get this guy for Jackson then he should be put into the hall of fame. Jackson LMAO :lol dirty ranga

GC chose to do that though. They weren't required to but they decided to load up on compo picks with these players. Word is GWS will keep a few.

So I'm assuming there has been no official announcement?

I'm glad I didn't neck up before I read on for the last few pages of this thread.

They won't do that, best case is a 1 year deal if he has to stay, but I just can't bring myself to see him in our jumper again  :banghead

Wasnt there rumours of Geelong being interested in him to replace Ling as there main tagger. I was hoping that was true and that Tom Gillies would come to us and give us another defensive option.

A Coburg jumper will look just fine on him ;)
